Fast Fireplace Makeover. Rock Fireplace To Weathered Wood.

What happens here

Complete the bottom edge of the fireplace with baseboards. Cut 1x4 pre-primed baseboards with 45-degree mitered corners to fit perfectly around the base of the fireplace. Secure them with brad nails and then hand-brush paint them to match the desired color, adding a polished final touch.

Goal: Finish the bottom edge of the fireplace with painted baseboards.

Put our just baseboards down here, cut 45° quarters. We use just 1x4 pre pre- primed baseboards right here that we just hand brush and painted just to trim out the bottom.
