(7,399 characters)today we're going to be setting up our paintline mobile spray booth in my third Bay garage right here we're going to be doing some furniture flipping um repaints and we're going to be painting some full-size doors we're going to be showing you the mobile spray booth with the height extenders on it so you can actually you know do full-size doors now this booth I'm going to show you how easy it is to set up mobile spray booth comes right here in this handy bag that I can just easily access access everything get all the parts out I'm going to start off by setting up the base first here four base pieces right here going to set these things up so I just need enough enough area that my booth will fit all right once I get my base laid out I'm going get my corner pieces on just like this just kind of snug them down there's a little guide right here slips right in [Music] Four Corners set tighten down now I'm going to begin setting up my poles for my booth kind of just like a tent pole steak there's a MAG magnet at the top make sure the magnet is at the top not missing every now and then they do come off so your height extender is going to slip right in move your magnet back to the top just stick my height extender in it's just right for my door to close I'll have to move my uh Booth back a little bit forgot to put my side pieces in or side pole holders in you just slide those in just going to got to have this going to have a pole on both sides now got some clips these clips it's going to make it easier to put your liner on with these clips I'm going to put one of these clips halfway down on each Pole so you don't want your liner to go down all the way you know on one pole makes it a lot harder you're just going to work it down so this is an extra- large liner it's not your standard liner this is a liner that was made for the extended it's got markings on this liner and it says begin setup right here so looking at the booth right here it tells you first tab begin here this is the lower right corner right here so this is the first Corner that's going to be installed then I'm going to be working my way around the booth this direction going to extend it down to this clip right here just take your time be patient Glide it on you don't want to rip this going to stick that on just want it about halfway down now I'm just going to move to my next [Music] connection don't worry about getting it slid all the way down your connection points until you get all the way around then we'll begin working it [Applause] down this go now I'm going to start working it slowly down my poles just work you about a foot at a I got all four sides I want to um secure it in place for when I put my extension or put my supports through so now my liner is all installed now the tricky part might be getting my supports through here um inside of a tight space let's see do my Center one first going to push it through then lock my steak in place going to push it through slowly it's magnetic so it's eventually going to stick right to the other side Center [Music] support okay now we got ourselves a spray booth so here's my exhaust fan attachment I'm going to attach this to the back of the booth if you didn't have an exhaust fan you'd be all done but we do have an exhaust fan so we're going to slide our exhaust fan attachment in so your exhaust fan could you can put it anywhere you can put it on the sides or you can put it in the back it really functions best if it's at the back of the booth I'm going to have it side to this one side cuz my windows right here once the exhaust Fan's attached on the back this is magnetic it goes right on the front now I'm going to set my floor it's going to go all the way to the outside right here typically run two pieces of like XX board floor shell something I want a super thick cardboard that will absorb overspray that will absorb spills if they [Music] filter be using that for doing our furniture behind the booth is going to be my sanding station inspection light once adapter's on I'm going to spin it around and snug it on with the strap that tightens it on snug that up really tight so I'm turning this corner right here to get it set just like that test it okay blows there got an exhaust vent right here this will attach to this into the blower you can see like right here if you don't have good filtration you're going to get a lot of buildup inside your um blower so I'll show you what I do to help stop that buildup um I learned that when I first started using this thing so now this is going to come up and it's going to be vented right out my window right here now when I'm using it you know I could just turn it on Open the window turn it on use it when I'm done close the window I've got my ventilation system uh set up in the back here ventilation is going to go right out aside window right there so um no overspray is going to carry outside this booth I've got a little extra room out front to just have a drop cloth I do uh got got a pro tip when it comes to you know um the air filtration system now this is the um the system that paint line sells with it it's kind of um a filter or pre-filter per se a lot of um silica dust colored um silica dust you know still makes its way through that goes out the ventilation system and if it's like laying on a um driveway or laying on concrete it'll create a lot of um whatever color you're spraying out there so I typically take um 1 in uh 20x 20 uh filters right here and I'll run these first you know over the top of my prefilter right here and I change these out quite often as soon as you start to see it suck in right here I've got two set aside right here I usually go through maybe like five of these on a set of kitchen cabinets it's going to keep your ducting cleaner it's going to keep a lot less um dust going out through your um ventilation system and that just installs you right over the top of your prefilter what I call a prefilter get it locked in place ventilation system is ready to go you know it's going to be about you about 15 minutes to 20 minutes to set it up it's a little bit less um it's about you know 12 to 15 minutes without the extended um uh the height extenders takes me about 12 to 15 minutes with the height extenders I'd say like 15 to 20 minutes but just when you get to this um the liner itself just take your time be patient if you rip um any of these you'll um any of the inserts where the poles go it kind of compromis is the Integrity of the booth and you can t you know um fix it with tape and stuff but just take your time from you know corner to corner you invariably i' set this thing up so many times and I'll forget like I forgot to put the little um brackets in for the um for the air filter but you know I just slid out one of the corners installed them when I first got all the corners set up I forgot my two you know side um you attachment for my poles so just take your time I want to tip typically spray you know towards my ventilation system so I'll be spraying right here and I'll be heading that direction right there so here's the spray booth we're going to be setting up inside our door spraying system where I can spray an interior door I can spin it around and spray the interior door standing up both sides and both edges all in one shot so we're going to show you what that looks like here in just a minute [Music]
