Step 7 · Limb and Buck the Tree

Once the tree is safely on the ground and stable, begin limbing by cutting off branches. Work from the base of the trunk towards the top. Then, proceed to buck the trunk into sections of a manageable size for transport or disposal. Be mindful of tension in branches and the trunk, which can cause unexpected movements or binding of the saw.
